Library CEO receives CMS game ball

The Library received a "game ball" from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Dec. 7 during its annual “State of Our Schools” event.
Superintendent Ann Clark thanked the Library for being part of an incredible collaboration. Said Clark, "We are so fortunate to have the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library as our partner. Our ONE Access (TM) program allows CMS students to use their student IDs for full access to the library's amazing range of resources - the books, the e-books, movies, technology and more. Our partnership with the library means every student has access - and I want to recognize Lee Keesler, the chief executive officer of the library, for his outstanding leadership and support of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Lee, you have more than earned my highest honor - a game ball."
Said Lee Keesler, “Our successful ONE Access program and partnership with CMS has allowed us to reach 125,000 students. Receiving this game ball and Ann’s kind words mean so much to us and our efforts to increase access to as many Mecklenburg County residents as possible.”
