1:00pm to 4:30pm

Main Library, Dowd Foundation Learning Studio

Rodney Stringfellow currently teaches courses in screenwriting, film history and video production at UNC Charlotte. An educator and screenwriter, he has written episodes for Nickelodeon, PBS, Disney Channel and more. The course is designed to help you craft stories expressly for the screen. The workshop teaches store structure, screenplay formatting, idea development and what happens after you have finished your script. This one-day teaching by Rodney will serve as a kick-off for a Library sponsored adult writers’ group that is focused on screenwriting.Producer: Julie McElmurry, Charlotte Unconventional Film School
