Angie Myers is the Chief Financial & Administrative Officer  at Charlotte Mecklenburg Library


Angie Myers, self-proclaimed champion weekend napper, has been with the Library over five years, holds an undergraduate degree in accounting from James Madison University and also has an MBA from Queen’s University of Charlotte. 

She leads the Capacity Bundle of the Library which includes: Finance, Real Estate, Information Technology, Human Resources and Logistics Divisions. Angie oversees the strategic and daily operations of the Finance Division including, but not limited to, budget planning, cash management, financial reporting, procurement, compliance and payroll activities. 

In her free time, Angie enjoys going on walks in her neighborhood while listening to her favorite podcasts, going on bike rides with her husband, spending one-on-one time with her two daughters and traveling.  

What is she most passionate about? “Raising my two little girls into kind, confident and contributing young women,” she says.
