Independence Regional Library serves the diverse population of eastern Mecklenburg County. Located across from East Mecklenburg High School at the corner of Monroe Road and Conference Drive, the 18,700 sq. ft. library is large enough to supply many books, services, and activities while being small enough to maintain a friendly atmosphere. Ample parking is available for visitors.
