Jesse Isley

Jesse Isley’s quote to live by in children’s services is from a young friend: “You know it was a good day if you didn’t hit or bite anyone!” (Nathaniel, age 6).  She has been with the Library for over 9 years.

Jesse is most passionate about connecting with the community both in and out of Library doors, sharing resources with customers and staff as well as empowering parents and caregivers as their children’s first teachers. Jesse says, "It's truly a joy to provide programs and resources for children and families. Being able to sing and dance, share stories, and watch children grow and learn never fails to bring a smile to my face!”

Jesse’s free time is spent mostly chasing her daughter and son. They love being outside, having family dance parties and reading, of course!

Jesse has a hard time choosing just one favorite book. “Right now, I’m loving picture books that I can sing. The Seals on the Bus is a classic! Old Macdonald Had a Truck has some super-fun wordplay. You can sing AND dance with The Croaky Pokey. And The Library Book shares the joy of a library visit with a very catchy tune,” she says.
