Charlotte Mecklenburg Library can help you improve your literacy skills through 1-on-1 tutoring! This can include reading comprehension, fluency, grammar, writing, vocabulary, and more. This program is available to anyone 16+ who is looking to practice their reading in a safe and informal environment.

• 1-hour weekly appointments with a library staff member
• Worksheets and curriculum provided
• Referrals to partner organizations, such as International House and Central Piedmont

This program is completely free of charge, and we also offer one-time consultation appointments so you can learn more about the program and ask any questions you have. Please mark your interest using this form or call your local library branch for assistance with submitting the form.
