Once you have completed the form, you will receive an email with your account information within 10 business days. This is an ecard account (instant access to all of Charlotte Mecklenburg Library's online resources) until you have visited a branch to verify your identity and Mecklenburg County residency. Once you receive your library card account, you have 30 days to visit a branch to verify your identity and residency. If not verified, then your account will be deleted.  

After your identity and residency have been verified at a branch, you will have a full-service account that can be used to access all digital materials and resources, to place holds and check out physical items from any branch.
