Charlotte Mecklenburg Library offers a wide variety of online programs and events for you to access safely from home. All information and printable calendars for each age is located below. 

Children’s Online Programs (Ages 0-11) 

Children’s programs provide early literacy skills and educational support to children and families! From storytimes (via Facebook Live or Zoom) to parent workshops and lunch and learn sessions, we have programs for all ages! Check out everything from STEM programs to book clubs to Reading Buddies and Tutoring! Register for our programs here. Teen Online Programs (Ages 12-18) 

Teen programs are designed to help you become your best self by supporting you on your journey. Our talented staff are offering online programs that are fun and engaging, which also allow you to learn and grow. We offer a variety of programs including book clubsSTEAM 101writing groups, gaming, College & Career Connections and more. Each month, we have a full calendar to choose from! In addition, we have digital escape rooms, college and career exploration podcasts, and virtual volunteering opportunities on our Teen Digital Branch. And don’t forget to check out our new CMLibrary Teens on Instagram where you can meet Teen Services staff, find a good book, watch Teens Live programs, learn about college and career resources, and be a part of the conversation!

Adult Online Programs (Ages 18+) 

We are currently offering a wide variety of online programs for adults! You can join us at one of our many book clubs that meet via Zoom, attend an online technology class, or get 1-on-1 assistance on a variety of topics. We host special events with interesting speakers and provide discussion series on a variety of topics – from podcasts to Ted Talks to job searching.
